From Acca with Laughter

Ahead of his upcoming exhibition "Cartoons From Accra: Memoirs of Politics and Activism in Ghana and Beyond", Ghanaian artist Bright Ackwerh invites us to engage in a fun conversation about his decade long sociopolitical commentary on Ghana and the African continent, and their connections to Europe, US, and China. Bright will speak to the inspirations behind his work, and to the distinct presentation of his upcoming exhibition. The conversation is moderated by long-time collaborator and anthropologist Dr. Joseph Oduro Frimpong and is sponsored by the Jackman Humanities Institute's Program for the Arts.
