Description

First published in Taiwan in 2017, Fang Si-Chi’s First Love Paradise 房思琪的初戀樂園 has emerged as of the most influential works in the #MeToo movement across East Asia. The English translation by Jenna Tang, released in May 2024, now brings this impactful story to a global audience.

In our upcoming book talk, we will explore the intersection of translation with gender-based violence and colonization, as well as discuss how translation can serve as a means of community building.

Free admission. Copies of the book will be available at the event, provided by Another Story Bookshop, and Jenna will be available to sign your copy.
