Moving beyond Allyship: Equity-Based Classroom is a two-day symposium which will include anti-oppression training and development for University of Toronto staff, faculty, librarians, postdoctoral fellows, and graduate students, featuring Rania El Mugammar and Brie Berry Crossfield. The symposium will provide space for workshops, presentations, and discussion on building decolonial and anti-racist student learning environments, offering a space to challenge thinking and to broaden perspectives towards new pedagogical futures.
Schedule: Tuesday, February 18, 2025 | 10:00am - 4:30pm Wednesday, February 19, 2025 | 10:00am - 4:30pm
*Please note that by registering, you are reserving a spot for both days of this two-day symposium. Lunch will be provided on both days, including gluten and nut free, vegan and vegetarian, and halal options.
