JHI’s Alumni Research Lecture Series continues over on our YouTube channel with a talk by Shami Ghosh (Associate Professor, Centre for Medieval Studies). This video presents some of Ghosh'’s research as a 6-month JHI Faculty Research Fellow in 2023-24. He shares his research on approaches to death and dying in historical perspective, and how attempts to ensure immortality relate to how people arrange their lives, their provisions for their properties, and the economic systems in which they lived.
