JHI’s 2023-24 Artist in Residence Olivia Shortt will appear in CBC’s 'Band Practice' with Gary the Unicorn on October 24, 2023 at 7:12am. The new series (Band Practice) introduces young audiences at home to cool musicians, their instruments and the sounds they make. Olivia demonstrated what a saxophone can do and answered some of Gary the Unicorn’s questions like "why do I play the sax?" and "why did I pick the saxophone?". Check it out!
